Ursus Miura C50 Carbon V Brake wheels

Miura C50 wheel is the Ursus concept for clincher. UD monocoque rims with 50 mm profile with HPS shield which guarantees better heat dissipation resulting from prolonged braking on carbon. Equipped with aluminum hubs with Ursus BBS low friction technology, carbon-aluminium hubs are also available on request.


TECHNOLOGIES
URSUS creates its wheels always trying to create the highest quality in structures and finishes:

SLN SELF-LOCKING NIPPLES
Thanks to the patented self-locking nipples, a perforated nylon ball is inserted into the edge of the spoke nipples, this totally eliminates the problem of reducing the speed of the spokes, allowing the wheel to remain centered over time.

BBS BALL BEARING SYSTEM
System in which four bearings are inserted into the hub for optimal fluidity. In the area behind the rear wheel hub there are two in-line bearings that prevent the axle from bending. The reduction of the lack eliminates the dispersion of power exerted on the wheel.

HPS HEATING PROTECTION SHIELD
Important inorganic reinforced fiber system. Where the heat created by the rim during the breaking process is blocked by this particular shield, allowing the internal structure not to compromise the integrity of the carbon.

HIGH-TG RESIN SYSTEM
The carbon used in these rims and soaked in a particular resin is very resistant to the high temperatures created by the brake pads on the rim. This part leads to less deterioration of the carbon over time and therefore a better performance of the final rim.

REINFORCED UNIDIRECTIONAL UDR CARBON FIBER
This carbon fiber is designed to work in the main load line of force. This allows maintaining a very high rigidity/weight ratio. The rim with this type of fiber is lighter and more resistant to loads and is reinforced with the addition of material in the nipples.
